Point of Beginning magazine is seeking completed project entries for our Geomatics Innovation Awards contest (previously Highlights in Surveying).
Did your firm implement new GNSS positioning or data collection tools with successful results? Are you on the leading edge of mobile mapping, aerial LiDAR or terrestrial scanning?
Have you developed innovative techniques for applying software solutions and generating deliverables? Does your firm offer capabilities that are head and shoulders above the rest?
If so, then the 2011 Geomatics Innovation Awards contest is for you! The 2011 awards will highlight projects that demonstrate vision, creative problem solving and successful technology implementation.
This competition is open to surveyors, civil engineers, GISPs and others. To be considered, projects must have been completed between January 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.
The grand prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges and will be featured in the October 2011 issue of POB. Runners-up will be profiled in future issues.
To enter a project, click the login button at the top of the page to create a user ID and access the entry forms. You may enter multiple projects.
